Your privacy is fundamental to how we operate. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how it is protected, and the rights you have over your information. Venus IA Mining Ltd. is the data controller responsible for your data.

2.

How We Use Your Data

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Platform and our services;
  • Verify your identity and comply with KYC, AML, and anti-fraud obligations;
  • Process deposits, withdrawals, contract earnings, and affiliate commissions;
  • Detect, prevent, and respond to security incidents and fraudulent activity;
  • Communicate service notices, updates, and respond to support requests;
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, and tax obligations.
3.

Legal Bases (GDPR)

Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on the following legal bases: (a) performance of a contract with you; (b) compliance with our legal obligations, including AML and tax law; (c) our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Platform; and (d) your explicit consent, which you may withdraw at any time without affecting prior processing.

4.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

  • KYC / AML providers (e.g. Sumsub, Onfido) to verify your identity;
  • Payment processors and blockchain analytics partners to detect illicit flows;
  • Cloud-infrastructure providers hosting our services under strict data-processing agreements;
  • Regulators, law enforcement, and courts where legally required;
  • Professional advisors (auditors, lawyers) bound by confidentiality obligations.
5.

International Transfers

Venus IA operates globally and may transfer your data to countries outside your home jurisdiction. When we transfer personal data internationally, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, or transfer only to jurisdictions deemed adequate by applicable law.

6.

Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with applicable law (typically 5 to 10 years for KYC and transaction records under AML regulations), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When data is no longer required, we securely delete or anonymize it.

7.

Security

We implement industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal data, including: TLS 1.3 encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, hashed passwords with bcrypt, role-based access control, hardware security modules for cryptographic keys, segregated production environments, regular penetration testing, SOC 2 Type II controls, and 24/7 security monitoring. No system is impenetrable; you are responsible for protecting your credentials and enabling 2FA.

8.

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you;
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • Request deletion of your data, subject to retention obligations;
